| The
Driver Alert Module is a microprocessor that informs the operator
of the status of the system and reports if any sensors are detecting
any targets. The Module is installed either in or on the driver's
compartment dashboard, and determines what data to report to the driver,
communicating which sensor has the closest reading. Additionally,
the Alert Module identifies the reporting sensor. Under normal operation, the Driver Alert Module will report which sensor is detecting an object and display the distance to that object in feet and tenths of feet on the digital display. When a sensor detects a target, it will flash its zone lamp (yellow for greater than 5 feet, red for less than 5 feet) and display the distance to the target on the digital display. The system will beep once when the target reaches within 10 feet of the sensor and 2 times when the target closes to within 5 feet of the sensor. The Sensor contains both an ultrasonic transmitter and a receiver. The transmitter sends out a sound pulse and the receiver waits for the echo of the sound pulse. The sensor measures how long it takes for this echo to return, and converts this information into distance. This occurs 20 times each second. The sensor also monitors the temperature. When the temperatures fall below 40 degrees Fahrenheit, the sensor activates a small heater to prevent ice from accumulating. The sensor also monitors itself. If something is not right, such as mud build-up on the sensor surface, the sensor sends a message to the Alert Module signaling the driver to check it. The mounting hardware for the Cable Harness can be custom designed to meet any vehicle's specific needs or requirements. An Eagle Eye installation technician will help you with the customization and service of this hardware. |

This product was
tested and found to be operational at the time of manufacture. Provided
this product is installed and operated in accordance with the manufacturer's
recommendations. Transportation Safety Technologies provides a Limited
Warranty on the Eagle Eye System for a period of one (1) year from the
date of purchase or delivery. Product demonstrated to be defective within
the warranty period will be
replaced at no cost.
Use of a lamp or other electrical load of a wattage higher than installed
or recommended by the factor, or use of inappropriate or inadequate wiring
or circuit protection causes this warranty to become void. Failure or
destruction of the product resulting from abuse or unusual use and/or
accidents is not covered by this warranty. Use of non-Eagle Eye System
components and assemblies may cause damage to the system and/or personal
injury, and voids all warranties on the Eagle Eye System and components.
Transportation Safety
Technologies shall in no way be liable for other damages including consequential,
indirect, or special damages whether loss is due to negligence or breach
of warranty.
Transportation Safety Technologies makes no other expressed or implied
warranty including, without limitation, warranties of fitness or merchantability,
with respect to this product.
Transportation Safety Technologies disclaims any statement or claim that
the Eagle Eye System is a safety device or a fail-safe instrument. This
is no substitute for an alert and careful driver.
